Cable. I only pay for 8mb/s down and 2mb/s up but I usually get 35mb/s down and 3-4mb/s up.

Adsl - 8mbit down, 448kbit up. Pretty good out side of peak hours, although my ISP sucks and during peak I tend to get around 40kb/s downstream.
