    I got error 1935 near the end of the progress bar was I was installing the demo.

    then I got error 1603-fatal error

    The Installation file must be currupt, because that's news to me.

    Man, this game is pretty cool once you get to know it. There are many improvements over the previous two, including the ability to recruit 5 units at a time. (unfortunately, settlers can only go one at a time, but otherwise, 5 would make things too easy).

    i saw the trailer for this and said to myself "that cant look that good" but sure enough it did. surpases aoe2 by a landslide.

    Heh,plus the game looks pretty good on slower graphics cards too. ATI Radeon 9500 pro runs it at around 25-28 fps, but it looks fine. My friend has a slower nvidia card and gets around 22-24, but it still looks pretty smooth.
    my 9500 pro still gets a good 85-90 fps on Halo.

    try the demo. You'll be playin skirmish 2-3 times against the cpu or muliplayer. They've improved many things, so it's less stressful with the tedious tasks, while you still have an overall challenge.
