    Meh, AVG has it's strengths, it's not useless.

    Best thing IMO is to use a couple, only one to do the active scanning tho'

    One av per os in a dualboot/multiboot system, or two on a single os.


    Norton and avg work together I think, I know you can run AVG and KAV on the same os.
    And I know from experience that avg caught things kav didn't, and vice versa.

    I'm never using Norton again, as it fuxored all kinds of things for me tho', but symantech corp works better, so I can still use the engine.

    Its funny I'm a Symantec corp. fan . But I rairly see a link or hash for NOD32 . Is it worth hunting down and trying ? I respect many members thoughts on this topic. I see that many use this program , and I should probably try it. I guess if it aint broke don't fix it.............. but I may be missing something.

    if symantec is fine for you then don't bother.
