    Did we not have php tags before?
    I just tried using them and they didn't work.
    What happened to them?

    we dont need HTML and PHP tags do we???

    PHP tags didn't actually make the PHP functional, it just laid out the code in a nice way with different colours corresponding to variables, functions etc.

    I think...

    ya I liked it for the hilighting/coloring of your code when you post it...makes it much easier to read.
