When I try to catergorize myself my head starts to hurt. What, when... sk8r, no that was three decades ago. Stoner... I forget when that was. Jock, before sk8&#39;s. Geek...always running in the background. Parent...boys are almost out the door. Goth...need some colour. Punk...still.

The "thing" about punk is that it is "raw". I think it was a natural response to the whole bloated glam rocker thing at the end of the 70&#39;s. The music had gotten lost in the "show". Three semi trailers full of lights, flashpots, smoke makers for a one night show. 20 minute drum solo&#39;s. 30 minute trippy tunes.

Rock had gone too far. So back to the garage. Couple of people, couple of instruments, couple of chords and now your rockin, again.

Fast, raw and in your face. Punk. Three Cheers for the Ramones. Lots of other bands but for power chords played fast ...some of their covers are hilarious.

I get classified as a skateboarder, or snowboarder because of the way I dress.

And as a kid quite simply, by busdrivers and others because I look young. But these are labels others have attributed to me. Not the only ones, either.

I&#39;m not a skater, I was once, but I messed up the discs in my knees(skiing), and I hardly listen to the music. And I&#39;m 24, so I guess being a kid is out too.

I wouldn&#39;t put myself in any one cathegory, at least not beyond that which MagicNakor has posted himself in, others may, but the fact is that I behave and have behaved, differently depending on the situation and the time.
