well i got rid of it just incase, but since i bought hl2 i dont really care, i only used six steam to get cs 1.6, condition zero, and opposing force.
Jeff Loomis: He's so good, he doesn't need to be dead to have a tribute.
how can it connect without info?
it'd use normal http protocol or whatever steam uses.
they would have to hack the steam servers to make it work. anonymous clients dont work because you need a log in to connect to steam.
You'd have to be pretty stupid to use a hacked program with your real account (ie the one with your serials registered against it) I would be worried if it runs as a background process when its not in use, its possible it may be some sort of keylogger? but it looks like that link to steams forums is just valve anti hacker propaganda to me.
Does anyone know where I can get this? I've already got HL2/CS:S with a legit key (Morrisons supermarkets in the UK tend to use the original boxes for games with the serial no. stickers still in 'em) But I'd like some of the older games. PM me if you can help

That link to steam's forum, seems like a lie from Valve and trying to get people not to use Six-steam....
bTW , yesterday immediately notcied that account i always used with six steam started to get the "steam ticket expired" error. Then i used six steam with an account registered to cs 1.6 (used valid cd key) and the i was able to play CSS online.... wtf .....

Cool, I thanks for your reply Peerzy. I can play CSS with my Half life counter strike cd key account
