Half Life Probs! Plz Hlp! Plz!

hi folks!

i recently dled Half Life Full and tried installing. i first extracted all its contents and then clicked on Install.exe but i get the "Illegal Operation Performed" error msg!!

plz hlp me!! plz guide me thr the installation!!

Install wont work, There should be a zip file that you unzip and it'll have the files.

or U have downloaded a corrupt version

it may have been corrupted or a messed up version, is it from the veriifed database?

and yes! its frm verified dls list!!

actually a file named HL.C32 is corrupt. i mean its CRC is all messed up!!

can any one plz tell me where can i find this individual file named - HL.C32??

PS: thought that this would b usefull...the HL.C32 file size as seen within WinZip is 2,913,000 bytes (i assume!&#33 it wont extract because of bad CRC!!

U'll have to either re-download (suggested ), or get someone to e-mail U the file (I don't have it, sorry). CRC errors are the most common things in .zip files from kazaa....I suggest either getting it of emule, or just keep trying on kazaa....anyway, good luck

I had the same problem after I downloaded the same 166 597 kb Half Life file. But then I did this; after I had extracted the Half Life full exe. with winzip to a folder, I extracted the HI.ace file using WinRAR and then came the hl.exe icon which started the game.

When you click the hl.exe it asks for the serial number. I got it from here: http://www.google.com/
(The included keygenerator caused an errormessage.)
