Even though my favourite is BitComet, i had to switch to utorrent a few months ago because BC is banned on a lot of sites.

uTorrent and Azureus are the best imo. Still, uTorrent is much more lightweight, thus is better.

Azureus, because of it's cross-platform support (runs on FreeBSD), and for its features.

uTorrent because it's not banned a lot like other clients and it runs well on my laptop.

  14. BitTorrent   -   #654
i don't understand one thing about uTorrent. when u start it up with windows, u have to reconnect uTorrent, cuz some trackers are saying u're not connectable..

don't understand that.. but when u restart uTorrent the problem is solved.

utorrent has been the one for me since i got sick and tired of azureus hogging all the system resources. also it always has some strange bugs in every version. utorrent on the other hand has the smallest memory footprint, and the most advanced functions. New stuff in the latest version is excellent: Onthefly categories (very good interface programming) and more. I also love the timecontrol feature, u can set upload and download limits for every single hour of the day (for ex. if you are on a work computer! or full speed at night!)

No turning back from utorrent.com for me

utorrent cause most site where banning bittorando and azureus and others this summer so it was easier to switch to the one they allowed. And now i find it superb as it takes less cup power, and easy to configure.

    thank you

I have tried many torrent clients, but settled for Azureus, mainly because at the time i discovered it, it was the only one that had the partial download option implemented right. So it kinda grew on me + it looks nice.
