I use Azureus and I was wondering, is the only major difference between Azureus and utorrent the amount of system resources? Sorta want to try utorrent but haven't done it because I've always had Azureus.

i had used bicomet, and it worked for me, untill the sites started to ban it and then my freind told me about microtorrent [µtorrent], and from then till now, i've no problem with it, and i can do alot of things while it's working. my vote is µtorrent of course .

is there any reason not to use utorrent? to me it seems like the ultimate best piece of p2p software ever... so damn efficient at managing multiple files with multiple peers... everything else i tried was much more resource consuming...

utorrent is the smallest ,quickest p2p prog atm. rulz.

  21. BitTorrent   -   #821
I use uTorrent because it's nice and small, and for some reason it's the only BT client that actually works with my current internet connection; other clients say that something is up so I get really crappy DL speeds, but uTorrent works just fine. It's probably not my ISP, probably some really obvious problem that I haven't figured out yet, but w/e.

I used to use Azureus but it is heavy in resources, my little PC can't supported it. Now I use µTorrent with almost the same benefits and it is very very light. The only problem I have: sometimes the HD remains light for a long time and slow down my PC... This happends whan I throttle my Internet connection to "full power" and download near 1 MByte UP/Down. Somebody has the same problem? tnx!

I use utorrent 1.6, and I don't think I'll upgrade because of the Cohen's bed-buddyness with MPAA/RIAA or Warner, whichever it is.
I wish some sites didn't ban the use of bittornado, or torrentflux as it is sometimes referred to.

Used to use Azureus, but once I tryed UTorrent and I'm using it ever since.
Azureus uses too much resources that make your pc run slower.
