  2. BitTorrent   -   #282
bitcomet is better because its c++ based instead azureus - java based = slow

  3. BitTorrent   -   #283

I use Shareaza simply because i use for general p2p, so makes sense to use it for BT too.

i'm in linux and i use bittorrent, i just nevere bothered to look at anything else since it works fine. also bittorrent 4.1.8b, which i'm using right now, features up to 100 simultaneous downloads.

  8. BitTorrent   -   #288
I usually use Azureus, but i am trying utorrent now. But I am having problems: it seems utorrent cannot connect well with bitcomet clients, at least for me....

  9. BitTorrent   -   #289
    I use uTorrent 1.2.

    I realy love it!

hello. well i use azureus, its great!!

  14. BitTorrent   -   #294
Been a faithful user of Azureus for a long time now, but always open to new suggestions. I tried ABC and didn't find much of a difference. Since I've come to Kuwait however, I can't seem to get download speeds on any client equivalent to my connection speed. I tried messing with my port settings but to no avail. I'm told that it's possible my internet providers are set up to discourage filesharing.

Wouldn't be a surprise in this country. So many idiots here and such poor customer service. Kuwait is like a supercomputer run by a 10-year-old...

  15. BitTorrent   -   #295
I use Azureus, I find it connects quick and have seen DL of 180kb's but I do find when its running everything slows. Just about to role back the java to j2re-1_4_2_07 as mentioned at the begining of this thread to see if this helps.

    Surprised/Amazed

in some bt tracker sites, azureus is being banned. don`t know why?

guess it is the "best" after all...

I am using Azureus but I am considering to start using mTorrent.
Unfortunately despite Azureus is the most powerful client it is very memory and cpu usage consuming...

I have used BitTorando from day one of torrents years ago and have never switched what may be the way for me to go know cause it seems like when i load up torrents on tornado know it jumbles up my system and slows it down...and alot fo the time when i close a torrent it stays running in the background....i think its time to switch but what to????

ive tried Azerus and dont care for it couldnt get good speeds out of it and i just a simple click and go deal like BitTorando!!!

    Important notice!
BitComet 0.60 has been disallowed as a Bittorrent client on UKNova as of noon GMT Monday the 12th of December!
If you use BitComet, please change client! UKNova recomends Azureus primarily, but acknowledges µTorrent as a reasonable replacement!

    I used to use Bitcomet
I gave Azureus a shot and have noticed I seems to DL faster with it

with Bitcomet my DL will end at like 0.7 ratio guaranteed
but with Azureus they normally end at 0.4

might of been a blocked port thing
    I dont know or care
