I just got a seedbox is it ok to seed for a friend and seed myself on FTN?

If your friend is on FTN too and you seed for yourself and for your friend at the same time, you and your friend will get banned.
Thats cuz FTN will detect two identic IPs on two different accounts and will bann you and your friend cuz the system think you use two accounts alone.
Better dont do this

be careful. see how many ips came with ur seedbox. i know vectoral somes with 3. so if i wanted to seed for some1 i could just make a new login on my server and seed from that acct under a diff IP.
