ASPI problem on Win98 System

I downloaded latested ASPI and installed on the system this is all with EAC and all other rippers say other message like winamp about encoder and decoders how do i fix the ASPI ?????? please help

I think you need to have it enabled in your BIOS before you install Windows...

I"m guessing that Harsh! is thinking of power management
with 9x, I don't think you have to install the aspi layer, as it's already there by default.

Try nero's aspi interface,

Download the demo and extract "WNASPI32.DLL" from the installer to the windows/system folder.

Or maybe post in Neowin , I see they have a separate win98 section . Just a thought tho. Win98 seems so far away......... I'v forgot all those problems .

Lol well i know its a old system its Second Edition tho if that makes a different i glad i dont have these problems on my xp system

I have tried to fix the aspi layer on several 98 machines and the only real fix seemed to be a fresh install.
