With SpeedFan, by default it wont read your temperature sensors correctly...
You need to change the settings pictured here in the screeenshot...

Temperature Sensor Diode are the ones to change

i used to use speedfan, but it was a ram hog and i keep my temp monitor running when my pc is on, so ram hogs are big no no's. hmonitor doesn't have this ram issue, and it's fairly informative
