Hi, I am new to the forums, so i am not exactly sure if this is the place to post or not.
Anyway, I caught the ^^ virus. Nortons found it but couldn't delete it. Fine. I went to the norton website and it told me how to manually. (which key to edit in my registry) Before i did that of course I exported the explorer registry.
What I need to know is do I need to replace that registry? I went to regedit and it is still there. So I don't think i need to replace it with the one I exported. Explorer runs fine.
Sorry if that was confusing, it is my first time messing around with any of those things.
thanks!

No, the reason they had you export your registry first was just in case you deleted something important from the registry by mistake. Then you could restore it to the way it was before you made the changes. If everything is working now and the virus is gone, you're fine.
