When I'm downloading from a well seeded torrent, I get steady speeds of ~500 kb\sec, and max ever seen is 600 kb\sec (lineage2.com has an awesome line).
Oh btw, I pay $60 (395 NOrwegian Kroner , which is actually very cheap)/month for a 384kbps/384kbps wireless internet.
Now you can bet various anuses that I did NOT tell my ISP about this little "problem" with my net connetion... harrharharr XD

u guys complain.. what about me 256/256 .. there is nothing better out here .. I pay $15 .. the next best thing is fiber optic with over $100.. I'm sticking to this 4 now

u haven't been to romania yet.. ADSL/DSL hasn't ben either.... hope AOL or some other big ISP will come here and will give us quality internet ..

Man, I'm from Bulgaria. I don't live there right now but i wish i did. There are 100Mbps LAN's there with servers that has any release you like. I don't know the LAN's bandwidth to the Internet but i bet is rather fast maybe 100Mbps too (symetric) so if you can't find what you're looking for on the server you just use bittorrent or any other P2P. There are normally limits of traffic but if you pay a little more there isn't any. And a little more is much less than the 40€ i pay here in Spain for a 2Mbps/256Kbpsu haven't been to romania yet..
