I think i know what the problem is

I noticed the download stopped at 3.99 gigs

Isn't there some error with fat32 file systems and files 4 gigs or over?

i have Windows ME and fat32 configuration, using bit tornado

If that is the problem is there a way to fix it?

yes, get windows XP. I know it sounds like im being ignorant, but im not, win ME is the biggest POS. even win 98 is better. Ask your friends or family for a copy, each XP home edition key can be used/activated 3 times before they (microsoft) want you to call them, or do what the rest of us do..........BITTORRENT yourself a copy.

and theres even a way to save your .wpl file in case you have to reload XP, and you wont have to re-activate it.(as long as you dont make any major hardware changes, but thats a whole other topic)
