does anyone know of a good audio edit software? I'm looking to mix two songs, and then edit each of 'em, to make the whole song shorter.

    Any recommended software?

I use Nero WaveEditor. It comes with the Nero package.

soundforge is good & easy to understand
    so is nero waveeditor

    audacity is good freeware
but not as user friendly as soundforge

i personally use SoundForge6 because 7,8,9 are owned by Sony
i have to say Sony fucked it up good once they got there hands on it
