how 2 copy game CD 2 comp?

hi all,well i borrowed a game yesterday from a friend and i was wonder what software do i use to copy game or image of game to my harddrive ,so i can burn it?If its nero, is it the data cd i use or what?or can i even do what im asking.

alcohol 120% does what you want.
it's called making an image.
you can also "mount" the image as a virtual cd drive which you can see and use as if it is the cd.

In Alcohol 120% go to> "Image Making Wizard" and click it. Ultra Iso is also a good program for making ISO's, the manual way.

Is Nero imagedrive the same thing ? I know you have to install it separately . But I hav'nt tryed it .

I think that image drive is only for mounting the images and not creating them.

I think nero only mounts .iso and.nrg images, and not .bin/.cue, so if you make the image with nero, you can mount it with nero, or you can mount it to the wall by driving a big nail through the hard drive.

It looks to me like the poster has NERO and NOT alcohol 120%

NERO DOES burn cue/bin files..........as well as a bunch of other stuff.

But I have made copies of friends game CD's just simply doing a drag and drop from the cd to a folder on my hard drive. then burning the contents of the folder to a cd or cd's as an .ISO using NERO

works perfect!

I wondered at the way it installed a virtual drive, f : in my case, scared me at first .

Alcohol 120% I mean.
