umm, yea....that usually how it happens, a nation becomes independant than writes it's constitution. kinda doesn't work well the other way around.

So really England had nothing to do with making your constitution as it was thought up by your founding fathers, who I am guessing thought of themselves as Americans

Do you think they said "hmmm, I like to shoot stuff, let's put in a right to bear arms" or did they think "in case a foreign power decides to come in yet again and force their wills on us or even if our own government decides it going to do away with our representive democracy and become all powerful we need a way for the citizen to defend himself"?

Did they need to put it in because folks in New York didn't like "them injuns" or maybe they remembered when British troops would shoot settlers when they cross the Appalachian Line because the King decided he didn't want westward expansion?

Did they need to put it in there because they wanted to agrandize rednecks? or did they remember we certain other governments found Americans guilty of treason for making tools out of metal?
