tuneup utilities is a lot more than just a reg cleaner
if all you need is a reg cleaner,
google "regseeker", a nice one for a freebie
lately i have gotten a hold of a *full* version of registry mechanic,
can let you know how that works as well after i give it some testing

dont use the "tuneup xp" utilities reg fixer its screws things up (garantueed)

also ccleaner has a very basic regcleaner which does the basics

TuneUp Utilities 2004 has my vote for the way OP put it. As far as Best/Easiest registry cleaner.
