Forgive me for sounding stupid but I have downloaded numerous mp3 file renamers and found them all difficult to use. I am looking for a totally free application for windows 2000 professional that is dummy proof and that I can change multiple files at one time. I have about 450 audio files that I would like to name correctly i.e. just artist, song, album and genre. I don't really understand the id 3 stuff that I keep seeing. All I want is simplicity so that when I share my music the right information is there. Also even the media players I download seem to be difficult to use in that I have to correct all the file names again. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance.
