    What is activeX? - do i already have it on windowsxp pro?, how do i enable it or where do i download it?
    i need it for a site for somereason...

    thanks for the google link-it made more confused than i was - however....is it already on xp pro? i have a feeling i disabled it somewhere or not...
    if i search for download i get only progs which use it wtf

    it's part of internet explorer, you mostly need it for websites to install spyware on you. :p
    (or other apps that run in your browser)
    more then likely you have it installed, but if youre smart it's disabled

    active x is crap.
    it's where the spyware and adware and stuff comes in through the net (most of it).
    Only IE has it.
    And it's what windows update needs to run.
