OK in opera 7 there is a drop down box which lets u search various search engines as u can see from my screenshot i have already managed to add a few of my own
    spankdonkey sig2dat database search
    sharereactor search
    vcdquality search
    and imdb search

now what i would like to do is add a search for the forum so i can do a search on the forum nice and quickly however when i do a search and take a look at the url i get is see its not that simple as the url i get (when i search for blade 2) is
    Code:
    http://www.klboard.ath.cx/bb/index.php?act=Search&CODE=show&searchid=ce828b8fd234c22819062f88b39714ec&search_in=posts&result_type=topics&highlite=blade+2
now to make this work in opera i gotta replace the variable part with %s and that would put in the search string but as u can see its not as simple as that, any ideas how i would do it?

why don't you just bookmark the search page?

    cos i am lazy

nah its just because that it is quicker and easier to run a search from the drop down box

and if i can figure it out for this then i can also add a forum search option to my start page in k-lite
