If Im right its like spyblaster, you have to pay for auto updates.
Cant u update manually?
It's getting hard to find cracks for it, i dont have one for the latest version.
Tried one of the Giant antispyware programs? (Giant, Microsoft antispyware, or countespy [they're all the same proram basically, just different anme and images]).
no you get a keycode when you buy it and then you get an expiration date of a long time. I had it before but it would never update vene though the exp. date was like 2007 or something like that. I just dont want to pay for it. It would be a nice addition but it isnt worth like 30 bucks.Originally Posted by Expire

I read somewhere that M$ slightly changed the program since acquiring it from Giant and there were several flaws and vulnerabilities that they haven't patched yet.
I had the latest Spysweeper w/ updates and did a scan....found nothing.
Installed CounterSpy (the original makers of Giant) and it found 4 legit items.....spysweeper is now gone.
There are several patches for spyspweeper depending on which version you have.
They are constantly changing as they know people are getting unauthorized updates.
Also CounterSpy is updatable @ windows update as that was part of the selling agreement. M$ has to supply updates for counterspy until 2007 or was it 7 years (one of the 2).
