For the most part, it is accepted around here that people do some hardcore shit to other people. There are certain things some of us do to protect ourselves.

I work accross the road from a rough housing estate where you can go and buy a gun no problem and used to work in a garage where a lot of the people who frequented the place were the type of people who would`nt think twice about shooting you. We all have these people in our countries it does`nt mean that you have to be a sheep because everybody else it.

Talk to the folks that claim they know an intruders intentions. If I move to Disneyland or whereverthefuck folks claim to be living then I'd own a gun, law permitting. I'm distrustful of strangers breaking into my home. It shouldn't be too hard to understand.

I think one main is that many of you aren't used to guns in any manner. I guess that is to be taken into consideration. It's like a foreign "instant death" object. You fella point is not with a person like myself. It's with the nutjob, criminal, or even legal gun owner that's wants to use his weapon for malevolence.
If I were to decide to one day take one my guns and kill a fella that I got into a squabble with earlier then that would fit many of you'z profile. What you rather have is the elimination of the chance of that happening by eliminating my right to own a gun which is what I disagree with. All the other stuff about accidentely shooting my child and other far-fetched things are moot.
