Every time I try to download a movie, after I get the "accept send" window, it comes up with a message "connection failed" and I can never download anything.

I followed the guide on this site and it still doesn't work.

My firewall allows irc to connect and my router has ports forwarded.

The only thing I can see which I don't understand, is that on options, the listening port is set to 59 but i'm connected to irc.blah.blah:6667. Which port am I supposed to forward? (I forwarded both just in case and still nothing)

    Any ideas?

you need to forward the ports for dcc

in mirc you can set which ports to use under view>options>connect>options>advanced there check dcc and set the port range you want to use. Then forward this port range in your router settings

Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to there level and beat you with experience!!
