I just got TR5 from kaz and all is fine until I click 'install'/'setup'/'play'. Thats when I get the 'illegal op' warning -
AUTORUN caused an invalid page fault in module AUTORUN.EXE at 018f:00401dl9
(there's more if you need it)

Why? How do I play the game?
Please help!

I think you downloaded a installed Rip version?

The program is looking for some files he can't find i think!
What do you want to setup or install?

Unzip, Run install.exe or unace manually then run UNPACK.EXE to unpack
sounds.

Copy regsetup.exe from folder to your game dir and run regsetup.exe.
Run autorun.exe to configure your hardware and start the game.

When I run install, it goes through the motions until it reaches about 55%. Then I get an "CRC error" message. When I click ok the lot disappears and I'm back to Windows again! It's not installing.

It's really difficult to keep up in the forum!

Anyway - I've tried Windows help and other sources but can't find out what a CRC Error is?
