Do you have any special memories connected to tuesday???

One of my fav tuesdaymemories is when i was about 20, working as a nurse

    those days.

Tuesday was my fixed day off, cos i had bandrehearsal in Amsterdam.

I allways took the morning train to Amsterdam to visit a big market, after that

a movie downtown and then meet the lads for diner.

The purpose was to rehearse after that, but way too many times we drank

too much at diner and ended up in some sleezy bar, instead of practising.....

Once we had a gig at tuesday-night and went out to eat as usual.

The manager of the place we played actually offered to pay us extra if we

were willing NOT to play our second set.........

    We stopped without hesitation.

Musically that period didn't bring too much, but, boy, did we have fun.....

    No, not exactly.

After we stopped we stayed, cos it was free drinking..........

We got a lot of compliments on our second set, though......

My old band are now hitting it a lil bit big, played on the radio and releasing an album
Their album signiture tune is "Sweet Child O Mine"

What pisses me off is I fucking taught them all how to play that

    dammit

I do remember one tuesday a few years back, June 9th 1998, which stays in mind, was the first time I ever got tubed while surfing, the feeling of being totally encapsulated by tons of water without being touched by any of it, the speed you're traveling and the sudden rush of air from deep inside the wave nearly knocks you off your board when it caves and bursts out the opening........no way to describe that feeling, you have to experience it or forever be in wonder and awe, it's as close to controling mother nature as you will ever get

    Nice one, that memory.

I can only imagine how great that must feel.

Oh, and i hear tunes on the radio regularly, wich are made on computers i built and

teached the owners how to use it.

I could be(and sometimes am....) proud, but some of the crap they make is beyond me........
