    Ok, now i've got a new computer and i want to connect to the internet. it runs on win xp and i have no freaking clue how i do it with win xp. win me seems to be a lot less complicated. can someone plz tell me. i don't want to use the isp software, seeing it installs all kind of shit i don't need. also i have to launch there software to connect to the internet and i also NEED to take their homepage. now if you live in germany and have t-online you know what i mean. thx for any help. need more details?

    If you have a non-dialup connection, just install the drivers for the modem and hook it up.

    really, that simple. is this for dsl or what? cuz i have dsl. my friend said he just pluged it in and had is drivers for the card installed and then win xp basically dialed a number by itself.

    Just plug the modem into your ethernet port and make sure the cable/dsl provider resets your modem
