Xp Compatible Game?

Does anyone know a shooter or war type game that will work on an XP pro machine?
all i want is an action type game that can be downloaded and played using my MS sidewinder joystick,my pc is a very high end machine great video card 768 megs ddr 400 memory and so on, so it can handle a good game,
If anyone can point me to a good game that all you have to do is download and play,I would appreciate it greatly..THANKS

Are you talking about a flight game or a first person war game?

I can run practicely all games on XP, But if U are looking for a nice shooter, try UNREAL2, or (oldie)Tactical Ops (BUT IT R0X)

But why woulf you want to play a shooter game with a joystick?

i suggest splinter cell or hitman 2.......
are u playing them with joystick or with gamepad??
