I am afraid we had to tell her as we were worried about your moral judgement. She went off muttering something about "I'll give her moral judgement" not sure what she meant by that.

Your approach should work too (unless he really is stupid - in which case he will go back to his mates and say "she really fancies me")

I too must get my butt in gear - heading out for a stag night and need to feed SGG - and her brother, if I can work out which one of his mates houses he has currently set up camp in. One of the joys of getting older is that all ones mates get divorced and then go through it all again. (It has been said by a cynic that "remarriage is the triumph of hope over experience")
