I got over 400 in Cutie Quake but clicked the fucking back button before I submitted the score.

I haven't cheated in any game whatsoever.

I'm a little different though. I'm one of those folk who used cheat codes in GTA III only after beating the game and I never use those walkthrough guides.

It just ain't no fun that way. There's no sense of accomplishment.

In that respect people will be people and will want some form of "look at me" and cheat. This is evident also with the "I want my score on the front page" stuff.

Almost all of the high scores on there are attainable.

Some simply involve endurance and not much skill.

I've never actually cheated in Cutie Quake, but i only ever get the urge to play it when i'm encoding a film and my computer is running very slow.

How is the score impossible if someone got it.

If one gets others can get it.

The maximum score you can get in that game (without cheating) is 3235. It's a well documented fact.

Only an idiot would cheat and give themselves an impossible score.

Not really.

It shows that you can waste time and won't get bored.

Donkey Kong (1 level ffs that doesn't get harder )
Airfox (suuuuuuuuuuuper slow and easy game)

You have to actually kill yourself to something more meaningful like go to work.

We're thinking about pruning all scores every month.

So what have you decided on this then? I still think it's a bad idea but I notice you have 17th of May as a clean up date for the arcade.

To be honest I can't see any reason to do this other than for the lame games which have a max score (penguin bash and the like).

Would be nice to see how other members feel about this as well.
