I got a windows update message, asking me to update my nividia sound codecs. It tried to update it 2 times but failed, so i decided to just shut it down. It seems when im watching a movie or listening to a music, i hear these echoing like sounds in the background , which is very bad.

    the speakers i have are

Mabye roll back the drivers ? I hate the winupdate hardware . I hide it , it keeps trying to update my Ati 9700 pro with 5 year old drivers. Or go to your nividia home page and get the lastest ones.

Can you please link me one with an installer to it? I went to nvidia and downloaded it , and all it came with was a uninstall utility and a couple of .dll files

    EDIT:
