I wont, but i doubt it will be that good, after latest press releases it seams EA has backed out on all the cool stuff it promised (shooting through walls, laser designation ect)

They arnt even including frigging CTF

IMO, Battlefield 1942 was EA's only decent game in this decade. They know they hit the right spot with it, which is why they took on board the guys who made the Desert Combat mod for Battlefield 2.

I hate EA as much as the next guy, but BF is worth it, trust me

i'm hoping they drop CTF in a patch, surprise us or at least make it possible for the community play with the code enough to put it in.

the squads thing looks like it could be fun but i don't know if i could get on with a commander, i like to do my own thing (which recently has just been pissing the enemy off at their flags. seems to do a lot for my team as the frustrated enemy wastes time trying to find/kill me)
i reckon it could be a lot of fun though with the mobile spawn thing, frenzied house to house skirmishes will happen a lot more often and be more drawn out

the AI sounds good also according to what the EA guy says. but they C4 the flag... haven't they noticed most servers ban this from humans?

also, it sounds odd but i want to see vehicle hit a person in ragdoll

Meh, BF:V looked visually appealing too, but looked what happened to it.

There are no fast ropes either. Its the lack of effort that pisses me off, its like they just make a sub par game on a engine that could do much more.

Its there ignorance to the community that pisses me off too. They say they are not including things such as the ability to lean around corners, CTF, the ability to shoot through walls, becuase they dont think we need those things, what the fuck do they know. The lack of a real SDK pisses me off too. and the fact that they have the balls to showcase a bunch of crappy tools like a new battlecraft, a .con editor and a effect modder, when they could release somethin that would help the community more than a fucking .con editor could ever do. And despite the pleas for these things they still ignore us.. Its the fact that they are not including these things because they think we wont need them.
What the fuck do they know, havnt they learned there lesson from BF:V?
They need to wake up and smell the coffie.
