I have been on RoadRunner (in Ohio) for a few years now. The download speed is good, but the upload cap is only around 45KB/s, which sucks for seeding torrents.

It also sucks terribly for playing online games... Nothing makes you lag more than a low upload rate.

Try playing Halo2 on Xbox live, you'll see what I mean. Host kills all the time...
Playing on Xlink Kai is even worse with that low a upload speed.

I live in Austin as well and I loved my roadrunner. I'm forced to use grande at this time. Its not too bad.

long-ass letter from ISP

I'll be damned... That entire week I left ABC on with 15-20 active torrents. I guess that's what they meant...

I've left BT running in the past, and never recieved such a letter
in fact, I just reinstalled AZ, and am grabbing Linux ISOs and letting it run
I still do not expect such a letter

have you checked on your PC to make sure she doesn't have a cold?

and yups, the 384 upload sux ass
think the 8mbps connection gets you 512 upload, but meh....
can't be bothered upgrading

I have Mcafee no viruses found. ISP hasn't bothered me, but I still hate that they sent me that.
