i find avastv quite good
Haven't had any problems with Avast.
Why so many people still use Norton ?
Me, NOD32, of course...
What are the advantages of Avast and NOD32? I've been using Mcafee for years. I've thought about trying something else, but I'm not too familiar with anti-virus software to make a switch.
used BitDefender for about a year, but i uses quite a lot of system resources, so i switched to Kaspersky
I used to like BitDefender kind of but new versions ain't my thing anymore
Previously symantec, now mcafee
VirtualPC. No anti-virus.
If you know you're going to be surfing for porn then why not use a browser that doesn't allow execution of code?
Of your highly legitimate concerns that you may download something with a virus in? As stated my personal preferrence is for virtualization software to check it with, no biggie if a virus runs there.
I recently switched from Norton to AVG and I'm very pleased with it. It took a while to completely flush all of Symantec's services (why do they need so many?) and registry entries, but it was worth it. My systems starts faster and runs better now.
i used norton, bitdefender, panda, nod32, zonealarm with antivirus...no i'm not using anything...i only have sygate firewall
