    NOD32..fastest, lightest and with the best heuristic scanner and almost no false positives.

    NOD32 is the best for me... + some good firewall... For example Kerio or Sygate...

    AVG free - it's the one i've found to work the best, so I'll carry on using it.

    Go for Comodo, thats the best possible firewall available, and whadya know, its FREE

    AVG is great, but I usually use a Mac. Mac's don't need antivirus software, right?

    On all the PCs I have, I use Avast Free Edition. It is free, and I've found that it does a better job than Norton and McAffe. Whenever I do spyware clean-up for people, I install Avast for them simply because I don't understand why people would pay for an anti-virus software when such a good free alternative exists.

    On Mac, I don't use any anti-virus. No need, yet.

    Before I started using NOD32, which was a long time ago, I used Norton. NOD32 is much better and it increased boot time by alot compared to Norton.
