How can I make my own site?

I would like to make my own site for over 18's. How should I go about this? Whats the first thing to do?

Find a web host, get dreamweaver or another WYSIWYG editor, and get creting the site.
After a while, if u view the source code as u create stuff, you will get good at html.
Then you can start on php.

I started learning html/php about a year ago and now i'm admin on this forum

Well I was thinking about getting vbulletin. I'm a n00b for this kind of thing. Would I have to buy a server to run at home?

as for the over 18s bit i guess youll have to find hosts which permit it.

I get it. So I just get vbulletin and find a host that caters for that sort of thing. I only want to create forums where people can do things like upload images of their favourite girls or post links to funny or shocking video clips. I've been told I'll get alot of traffic by doing this and maybe make a bit on cash through donations/membership upgrades. Idk, seems like a fun idea but would linking adult or shock video clips be legal? I've noticed alot of sites ban members for linking to stuff like that.
