Thread: trailer downloaded but can't find it

  1. #1
hi, i watched the star wars III trailer on its official website and intended on saving it into my comp.
Wat surprises me is that not only is it not in my cache, it's nowhere to be found in my comp!

if u dun believe me, u can try ur luck at starwars.com.
i've tried both IE and firefox, both caches show no signs of the trailer's existence. I must've downloaded the trailer...but where is the file?

    thx,

Are you using Quicktime ? Check save movies in disk cache . I'm using Quicktime alternitive. and that's what played in my Firefox.

Nope your right , I looked too. Its a slow morning . Its in my FF go but can't see anywere else or open the right cache file. Just do as Vargas suggests and quit being so anal. I thought I was bad.

I believe it may be a security feature of the site.

I tried the right-click "save as" feature also some months ago and my results were the same.

eDonkey also has many sources for these trailers. That is how I managed to obtain mine. They are also in full resolution. Not the dinky sizes that the site's non-members see.
