or get some ducting and make it vent straight out a vent in you room. or out the window. should help a bit.

This is a real problem for us too...we normally have 15-25 PCs running all the time and it gets quite toasty during the summer.
Ceiling fans will help.

I suspect he's already got aircon. I also suspect his dad is complaining about how much it is costing to run and blaming the pc.Originally Posted by Virtualbody1234

Just do like I suggested before, and buy a new case with a radiated liquid cooling system. They really do work great.
yo
My dad is complaining about the air from the computer making the AC unit think its really hot and making it run a lot..running up the bill, not the computer. And I cant open the window its 100 degrees outside lol. I told my dad i was gona build a vent out..but idk how well it would do and it would be a big hole in the wall..lol and the heat from the monitor is HORRIBLE..but i might try the venting thing.

is the computer in teh same room as the thermostat?Originally Posted by bigdawgfoxx
if not then it won't matter how much heat the computer is putting out.
My room is RIGHT next to it and the heat comes under the door and is only like 4 feet away from it...so I think it does affect it some...MuchSPL...I dont really understand what u mean by closing off all the vents except the av room..
