Downloaded Iso Files

I downloaded a file that states it is an ISO file and can be burned to a CD. Do I just burn it as is and that will produce a useable & installable program CD or is there anything else to do? All help would be appreciated.

yeahhh use nero and burn it !! or most cd software that supports ISO'S
Once burned you will have a proper working cd !!
