    Did you get the full retail CPU (i.e., w/ heatsink)?

    If so, some before and after temp readings would be interesting.

    It's the full retail kit, But I still need a Graphics card and RAM before a POST test can even be done, proper temp readings will be a few months away yet depending on cash flow Scully can be a harsh mistress at times, but it only makes things hawter

    If it's the retail package then it contains a CPU cooler. You said that you weren't overclocking so why not use that?

    The stock cooler is usually made by Coolermaster.
