Does the device have writing on it where the power cord plugs in? Any voltage or wattage/amps rating? If so then you can get the adaptor from an elecronics store. They can help you at the store to find the right one to fit.

i was looking around my house checking telephones and any adapteres i got and i found two =D, from my previous cellphones, it seems compatiable w/ my nokia power adapters whats also funny is im using a nokia usb cable A to B mini cable

Don't use the wrong adaptor!!! Even if the plug fits, it doesn't mean it has the right voltage.

well my adapter uses really low voltages its 100-120 volts i checked, i think only low voltages r needed for this one , it doent support heavy stuff since it uses a mini b to transfer files and my bigger power adapters didnt seem to work, the hole is so small, none of my other ones worked at all

well it seems i cant plug a usb card reader into it

100-120 volts is the input voltage of the adaptor. It's the output voltage that's important here.

100-120volts is high voltage for something like that.

that's the output from your wall socket, input to your adaptor. what's the output on the adaptor, and as vb1234 said, how many volts is the hub rated (if it says).

no its a cheap hub, it didnt even say it required the power adapter, i thought it would just use from the computer but apparantly not, the packaging and everything was so cheap

my power adapter uses input 120vac, 60hz, 45ma, output 3.7v - 350ma its a nokia phone charger
