On Firefox, ya know the bookmarks toolbar underneath the address bar, there's a small icon next to each site right? Well is there anyway to change the icon? It's just that some of the icons on some sites have 'mixed' and there's, for example, two or three sites all with the same icon and it's a little annoying

I have that problem with 2 sites...all I do is delete the wrong ones & re-bookmark them again.

Does Firefox retrieve the favicons from each site for the browser? I know IE does.

That usually only happens with sites that don't have a favicon associated with them. Not much you can do other than delete it and re-bookmark, but there are extensions that change the icons into different colours for each site etc. so you don't get them confused.
