Excuse my ignorance 'Ima' but what is a 'Key logger'?

It is possible to 'boot up' with your floppy drive disk. I have never needed to do it recently. I am sure someone from the Software/Hardware section will tell you how.

A keylogger is an app that runs silently in the backround and logs the keystrokes the user presses. If used in a "good" way you can monitor your kids, if used in a "bad" way you can spy on people.

You want the keylogger app to run auto. when the floppy is put in? I don't think thats possible with floppies. CD's yeah.

There are still a lot of computers around that dont have CD drives. Remember all the 'old' computers get sent to other countries.

I didn't want to boot it up with computer but like when I put the floppy in it will auto run and send all logged text into some text file into the floppy without me doing anything. I can use a thumb drive too but I just want to know what key logger could do it.

I have never used one of these. I dont see where your requirements would be a problem. It would only be a matter of having a 'run'* file on the floppy that would execute as soon as you entered the floppy into the computer and copy your key strokes file over.

    * Bat, exe, com files etc.
