Maybe Animation Shop 3.04?
I haven't tried it myself yet, but I know Crack_Man uses it to make animated avatars.

If you're serious about making animations, it might be worth learning to use Macromedia Flash.

try gif animator its a biginer thing then you advance to flash

where do you get gif animator off of k-lite or can i get it from a site? and where do you get the flash tutorials at???

Tutorials come with the flash package under Help > Lessons
