    Question Mark

If you have Xp sp2 installed you know that windows now includes a security center, but the problem for me is that it can't detect my firewall (sygate 5.5). This is not much of a problem except for the fact that windows likes displaying an annoying pop-up warning everytime I startup the pc.

I'm using the same firewall and SP2 recognises it for me.

All I did was disable the SP2 one and left my normal on running. It picked it up fine. It also detected Norton Worm Protection too

open security centre, click "change the way security centre alerts me", uncheck the firewall checkbox, should stop it from annoying you

Actually, Sygate should have a specific update, available on their site or through it's updating service, that addresses that issue.

I completly disabled the Windows Firewall and Internet Connection Sharing Service.

My Computer --> Manage --> Services and Applications --> Services --> Windows Firewall/Internet Connection Sharing --> Set to manual startup type or disable
