    I have...hundreds of times. They came out,when I was a wee little lad.

    Sure! I can still do it quite fast. Maybe about 3 or 4 minutes these days.

    With a little practice and a smooth turning cube I can easily do it in less than a minute and a half. Sometimes in about 1 minute if I'm lucky with things falling into place.

    I had joined a competition many year ago. I didn't win but came close.

    no, i've never finished one before.
    No. Not kidding. It takes time to figure out patterns and practice lets you see shortcuts to the final goal but it's no "trick".

    When they first came out, I could do it in about 2 minutes.. Now, It's probably more like 5; the trick is to work out some basic moves, then just apply those moves to the problem at hand.

    There are many ways to do it...

    There is a website where you enter how your cube looks like and then it tells you how to solve it
