In my experience the following applies to people who are payed weekly.
Your 'clocking in' card starts on a Sunday and ends on the Saturday.
If you work 'overtime' on a Saturday' you are not paid for that Saturday till the Friday 6 days later.
If you work 'overtime' on a Sunday you are not paid for that Sunday till the Friday 13 days later.
I should think that the above applies to working places where the week starts on a Sunday. Unless they bought their clock cards in a 'job lot' and had to change their working week accordingly.
