There's no way this Aussie attack is going to bowl England out for less than 200 on this pitch.
Btw, England don't 'normally' get 407 against Australia. I heard on the TV last night that it's their highest total against them for 37 years or something.
So given that we've played on lots of flat tracks in that time, the high score is either because the England Batsmen are much better or because the Australia bowling attack isn't that good.
Prolly a bit of both but mainly because, Warne aside, your bowlers suck![]()
damien martin run out just before lunch was looking good too
i didnt know that about 37 years!!

Damien Martyn is also out, ran out by a beautiful piece of fielding by Vaughan (they said on teh radio). Ran out the very last ball before lunch.
Australia 118 - 3
If we can get a few quick wickets after lunch then England will be firm favourites to win the match, that's if they're not already.
Australia 308 all out
England take a lead of 99 into the last half of the match. This has to be the quickest scoring test match in the history of forever.
If England score 400 again, I'd say the game is safely won - however, it wouldn't be past this Australian team to get 500 to win it.
Let's score 550, to be safe![]()
you lose Strous early![]()
we all know whats gonna happen warne Will take 7 wickets go off his brain like a idiot england Will get about 200 aust will get 300 to win the match easy
It was actually the highest score in a single day for 37 years.Originally Posted by manker
Adster is really pissing in the wind with this one, only two days have passed, no chance of a draw this time. Australia will have to play for time, not runs.
